South winds of 3 to 12 mph will nudge Gulf moisture gradually northward, but humidity stays manageable. Tonight cools to a pleasant 68°F under partly cloudy skies — the National Weather Service puts rain chances near zero through midnight.
With wind and fire danger flagged today, hold off on any outdoor burning. Southerly flow can carry embers farther than expected.
