Miami Weather Today: Sunny 81°F With Afternoon Thunderstorm Chance

7-Day Forecast

Sat⛈️81°Sunny then S...
Sun⛈️82°Sunny then S...
Mon☀️83°Sunny
Tue☀️81°Sunny
Wed☀️82°Sunny
Thu☀️85°Sunny
Fri🌤️84°Mostly Sunny

Miami is looking at a beautiful Saturday with plenty of sunshine and a high near 81°F, though a slight 20% chance of scattered showers and thunderstorms could pop up between 4–5 PM, mainly across the interior neighborhoods and toward the Everglades.

Here’s what’s happening: the National Weather Service forecasters tell us a weak mid-level trough is interacting with sea breeze boundaries as they push inland from Biscayne Bay. Moisture levels are climbing to 1.3–1.5 inches, which is enough to spark a few afternoon storms—but nothing severe is expected. If you’re heading out to Wynwood, Allapattah, or anywhere inland, keep an eye on the sky after 3 PM just to be safe. Beach lovers at South Pointe Park or Lummus Park should be fine; coastal areas will stay mostly sunny.

Perfect Saturday for Outdoor Plans

This is ideal golf weather. Grab your clubs and head to one of Miami’s courses—the light southeast breeze at 5–9 mph won’t fight you, and the sun will be out most of the day. If you’re into fishing, the conditions are excellent for a morning or early afternoon trip to Government Cut or along the Intracoastal. The rip current risk remains moderate across the Palm Beaches, so swimmers should stay cautious.

If you’re catching the Romeo Santos & Prince Royce concert at Kaseya Center tonight, you’ll have pleasant conditions walking to and from the venue. Grab tickets on SeatGeek or Find tickets on StubHub if you’re still looking.

Grilling Time

Saturday is made for firing up the grill. Whether you’re doing burgers, steaks, or grilled chicken with corn on the cob, the weather couldn’t be better. Grab an instant-read meat thermometer and grill brush and scraper set to nail your cook. If you’re setting up a full backyard spread, a patio furniture set and outdoor string lights will make your space feel like a proper gathering spot. Need ingredients? You can order groceries on Amazon and have everything for tonight’s dinner delivered to your door.

Looking Ahead

Sunday will be nearly identical—sunny with highs around 82°F and another slight chance of afternoon storms (20% chance after 2 PM). Sunday night stays mostly clear with lows around 73°F. Heading into next week, temperatures will climb above normal, so enjoy this comfortable window while it lasts.
