The one thing forecasters are tracking is Tropical Storm Elida, currently about 1,000 miles southwest of Point Conception; it’s expected to weaken to a remnant low by early Tuesday and is mainly contributing high clouds overhead, not local impacts. High pressure building over the interior will keep the marine layer and cooler-than-normal temperatures in place through the first half of the week.
