By midday, the combination of mid-90s heat and rising humidity makes the Heat Advisory window (11 AM–7 PM) the time to limit strenuous outdoor activity.

Forecasters warn a few strong storms are likely late afternoon into evening, with frequent lightning, wind gusts up to 55 mph, and brief heavy downpours possible. Activity should linger well past sunset before diminishing overnight, when rain chances actually climb to 51%.
