Advisory-level gusts are confined to the mountains, but Burbank, the San Fernando Valley, and foothill neighborhoods should note elevated fire danger during these dry, breezy stretches. By afternoon, a pleasant southerly flow at 5 to 10 mph takes over and conditions settle nicely.
