Forrest Frank is bringing The Jesus Generation Tour to MVP Arena in Albany this Saturday, June 13, with show time at 7:00 PM ET. If this one has been on your calendar, it’s almost here.
The show is fully indoors, so the weather won’t touch the concert itself — but Saturday’s forecast is worth knowing before you leave the house.
Getting There
The National Weather Service is calling for a high near 88°F with a 30% chance of rain showers and west winds of 5 to 10 mph. If those showers line up with your arrival, the walk from the parking lot to the arena entrance is going to be warm and wet. Plan for it — have a game plan for getting from your car to the door quickly, and you’ll be fine the moment you’re inside.
One thing a lot of first-timers underestimate: arena air conditioning. MVP Arena will feel considerably cooler than the 88°F you just walked in from. A Forrest Frank hoodie is the perfect call — you stay comfortable through the whole set and walk out already wearing your merch.
Rep the Tour
If you want to gear up before you go, a Forrest Frank t-shirt or Forrest Frank hat are easy to grab ahead of time. Going all in? A Forrest Frank poster is worth it for the wall after the tour wraps.
Don’t Forget Your Ears
Arena shows get loud — intentionally so. A pair of concert ear plugs high fidelity lets you hear every layer of the music without the post-show ringing. Especially worth it if you’re bringing younger fans along.
Practical Tips
- Arrive early. Plan to be at the venue 30–45 minutes before 7:00 PM ET to clear security and find your section without rushing.
- Check the bag policy. Most arenas require small clutches or clear bags. Confirm MVP Arena’s current policy before you pack.
- Consider rideshare. Evening events downtown can make parking competitive. Rideshare drops you at the door and skips the lot entirely.
- Layer up. You’ll step into 88°F heat outside, but the arena will feel significantly cooler — especially if you’re seated for a long set.
